Training Diary - Weeks 6 & 7

I have had a lighter week this week, just because I was busy. Also trying to complete my 31 consecutive days of weights/core/yoga for my Annual Challenge list takes a little bit of effort that I need for my base miles. Even then I have managed to get very close to my fortnightly numbers.

I did a half-decent Parkrun on Saturday (19:07) despite bonking on my long run on Thursday night. Good sign that I can recover quickly when it comes to trying to race 3 World Championships in a week.

This weekend I also moved a bunch of my other Annual Challenges forward, and went for my first bike ride with Lorna.

That was interrupted by a phone call that I have been expecting for 20 years, and more so the last month, to tell me that my Granny died on Sunday morning, aged 102.
